Ingredients
tuvar dal-1/2 cup
spinach-1 handful
jackfruit seeds-10
green chilly-2
turmeric
salt
coconut-1/2 cup
cumin-2 pinch
shallots-2
green chilly-3
raw mango-1
coconut oil-1 tsp
mustard-1/2 tsp
dry chilly
curry leaves
Preparation
Cook dal in a pressure cooker and keep aside. Take a claypot, add jackfruit seeds, green chilly, turmeric, salt and water, cook it well, then add mango pieces, cook it again. Grind coconut with cumin , shallot, green chilly and water, and make a smooth paste and keep aside. Once the mango is cooked enough add cooked dal and spinach, mix it well, add coconut paste, boil it ,then turn off flame. Season the curry with oil,mustard,curry leaves and dry chilly.
