Soft unniyappam

Ingredients

• Raw rice – 2 ½ cup

• Jaggery — 300 grams

• Wheat flour — ½ cup

• Banana – 2 and half

• Ghee – 2 tablespoon

• Water for jaggery syrup – ¾ cup

• Cardamom powder – 1 teaspoon

• salt — 1 pinch

• Coconut pieces

• oil

Preparation

Wash rice well then soak it for 3 hrs.Then add it to a mixie jar, pour melted jaggerry, then grind it into fine paste, transfer this to a bowl, then grind banana and pour it above the rice batter, mix well then add cardamom powder and salt and rest it for 2 hrs.Roast coconut pieces in ghee and add it to the batter, mix well. Heat oil in unniyappam pot, pour batter in each hole, fry both sides well.
