Ingredients

Pearl spot fish-2
ginger garlic paste-1+1 tbsp
kashmiri chilly powder-1 tbsp
turmeric-1/2 tsp
pepper powder-1 tsp
lemon juice
salt
oil for frying
for masala
shallots-30
salt
green chilly-2
chilly powder-2 tsp
pepper powder-1 1/2 tsp
fennel powder-1 tsp
garam masala-1 tsp
tomato-1
curry leaves
Preparation
Take a mixing bowl, add kashmiri chilly powder, ginger garlic paste,pepper powder,lemon juice, turmeric and salt, mix well , add water and make a paste, marinate fish with this masala, keep aside for 1/2 hrs. After that, fry it in a pan, then set aside. In the same pan add shallots chopped, ginger garlic and green chilly, saute it well, then add masalas,after mixing well add tomato and salt, cook it until it become soft and mushy, then turn off flame, take a banana leaf, add masala, then add fish, again add masala, add some curry leaves, cover it carefully and set another fish like this. Heat a pan, add both fish, then cook both sides.
