Fish Curry

Ingredients

fish-4

grated coconut-1 cup

shallots-20

green chilly-4

curry leaves

ginger

malabar tamarind-2 piece

pepper-1/4 tsp

coconut oil

fenugreek seeds

coriander powder-2 tsp

chilly powder-3/4 tsp

turmeric-1/2 tsp

kashmiri chilly powder-1 3/4 tsp

fenugreek powder-2 pinch

Preparation

Heat coconut oil in a clay pot, add fenugreek, let it pop, then add ginger grated, shallots , green chilly and curry leaves, saute it until it become soft and golden brown, then add masalas, mix it well, once the raw smell gone add tamarind water, after boiling it add coconut paste and water, add salt, boil it well, now add fish, cook it in low flame, finally add fenugreek powder, curry leaves and coconut oil, then turn off flame.
