Wheat Unniyappam

Ingredients:

wheat flour -2 cups

jaggery- 1 1/2 cups

ripe banana -1

cardamom-5

dried coconut pieces

water -1 cup

salt -1/2 tsp

baking soda-1/8tsp

Melt jaggerry with water. Take a bowl, add wheat flour, salt, dry coconut pieces, cardamom crushed, small banana, and baking soda, mix all well with your hand, next add jaggerry juice, mix well and make a slightly loose batter, rest the batter for 1 hour. Heat a unniyappam pot, add oil, once the oil starts boiling, pour the batter to each holes, keep the flame low, fry both sides well, then take it from oil.
