Neyy Pathiri

Ingredients

Rice flour(puttu podi)-2 cups

boiled water-3 cups

grated coocnut -1/4 cup

shallots

cumin seeds

salt

oil

Preparation

Add rice flour in a bowl, pour hot water into it, mix well and keep aside. Crush coconut, fennel and shallot, then add to rice mix, add salt, then knead it well, add water if required, then make a soft dough, take small ball from it, flatten it by using your hand in a plastic wrap, and make a thick poori, then deep fry it.
