Ingredients
raw rice-2 cup
salt
cardamom powder-1 tsp
jaggerry juice
grated coconut-1/2
cumin powder-1/2 tsp
Preparation
Soak rice for 4-5 hrs, then grind it with salt, cardamom and required water, then make a soft loose batter, pour the batter to a pan, turn on the flame, keep it in low mode, stir the batter, continuously , once it become thick and non sticky, turn off flame and keep aside for cooling. For filling, boil jaggerry juice in a pan, add coconut, cumin powder and cardamom powder, cook it until the juice diissolves in coconut, then keep aside. Take a banana leaf, put the rice flour dough, apply thin layer over the leaf, add filling, fold the leaf from one side to another, finally steam cook the whole ada.
