Ingredients
egg-1
powdered sugar-1 1/2 tbsp
cardamom-1/2 tsp
salt-2 pinch
ghee-2 tbsp
milk powder-3 tbsp
amrutham podi-1 cup
baking soda-1/4 tsp
wheat flour-1/4 cup
sugar-1/2 cup
water-1 cup
cardamom-1/2 tsp
oil for frying
Preparation
Break egg to a bowl, add sugar, beat it well, then add cardamom, salt and ghee, mix this well,then add milk powder, after mixing it well add amrutham podi, knead it with your hand, add wheat to adjust moist, then make a soft dough, then flatten it by a roller, make square or rectangle shape thick layer, then cut it in to long rectangle shape, fry all these bites in hot oil. Boil sugar and water together for sugar syrup, add cardamom, after boiling it well add fried amrutham bites into it, soak for 15 minutes.
