rice flour-1 cup

maida-1 cup

semolina-2 tbsp

salt-1/4 tsp

jaggerry-1 1/2 cup

sugar-2 tbsp

cardamom-4-5

small banana paste

baking soda-1/4 tsp

Preparation

Heat ghee in a pan, add coconut pieces, roast it well, then add sesame seeds, roast it until the coconut turn golden brown, then turn off flame. Take rice flour in a bowl, add maida, cardamom and salt, mix well, add small banana paste and melted jaggerry, mix it well, add coconut sesame seed, and baking soda, mix well and make slightly thick batter, heat oil in unniyappam pot, pour the batter in each holes, fry it both sides.
