Vattayappam

Ingredients

raw rice-2 cup( soaked)

water

coconut-1 1/4 cup

sugar-3/4 cup

yeast-1/2 tsp

cardamom powder-3/4 tsp

Preparation

Add rice to a mixie jar, add water, and grind it into fine paste, add 2 tbsp batter from it, and add it to a pan, add more water, then stir it well to make thick , then add it to the mixie jar, add coconut , sugar and water, then grind it again, next add yeast, cardamom and salt, blend it again, then transfer it to a bowl, keep aside for raise the batter. After that, take a plate, grease it with ghee, pour the batter to the plate, then steam it well.
