Ingredients
Rice – Any rice ( i am using palakkadan matta ) – 1 cup/ glass )(1 cup = 250 ml )
Green gram ( cherupayar ) – 4 tablespoon
Dried red chilli – 2
Shallots ( small onion ) – 7
Garlic 1 big clove ( If small you can take 2 to 3 cloves of garlic )
Cumin seeds ( jeera ) – less than 1/2 tsp
Fenugreek seeds – less than 1/2 tsp
Grated Coconut – as per taste – 3 to 4 table spoon ”
Salt
Water – 6 to 8 glass
Preparation
Wash rice and green gram together, then add to a pressure cooker, then add shallots, fenugreek, cumin, garlic, dry red chilly, salt and required water to cook, cover the lid and cook it for 1 whistle in medium flame. Once the pressure is come out open the lid and add coconut, mix well.
