Fish Biriyani( Neyy meen Biriyani)

Ingredients

for marination

fish-300 gm

pepper powder-1/2 tsp

turmeric-1/2 tsp

chilly powder-2 tsp

vinegar-1 tsp

salt

For rice

kaima rice-2 cup

water

salt

sunflower oil-1 tbsp

milk-1/2 cup

turmeric

pineapple essance

fried onion

roasted cashew and kismis

fried green chilly

For masala

ginger.garlic and coriander leaves paste

tomato-2

biriyani masala-3 tsp

coriander powder-1 1/2 tsp

turmeric-1/4 tsp

garam masala-1/2 tsp

pepper powder-1/2 tsp

fennel powder-1/2 tsp

curd-2 tbsp

Preparation

Marinate fish with the above said masala, after resting 1/2 hrs shallow fry fish then keep aside. Cook rice in a pot then strain out from water and keep aside.

For masala, saute onion in a pan, then add ginger,chilly,garlic and coriander leaves paste, cook until the raw smell gone away, then add tomato, once it become mushy add masalas, mix well, then add curd, mix all well, add fried fish, combine it well.

For setting the biriyani, heat a large pan, add oil, then add cooked rice, mix it with oil, then add milk,essance and turmeric mix, add fried onion, kismis,cashews and chilly, mix all well, add the masala , after covering it well dum it for 15 minutes.
