Ingredients for Egg Roast Puttu
rice flour (Puttu podi) -1 cup
salt -1/2 tsp
water -1 cup
Boiled eggs -4
oil -2-3 tbsp
fennel seeds -1/2 tsp
few curry leaves
chopped Ginger -1 tsp
Garlic -2 tsp
green chilli -2
Onions -2
salt
Coriander powder -1 tbsp
Crushed black pepper -1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder -1/8 tsp
Garam Masala powder -1/4 tsp
Shredded coconut-1/4 cup
Preparation
Take putt dust in a bowl, add salt next add water , after mixing well keep aside.
For egg roast, heat a pan , add oil, once the oil is heat add fennel and curry leaves, next add ginger, garlic and chilly. mix well, next add onion, saute it until it become soft, add salt. now add masalas, mix until it turn aromatic, then add tomato, cook until it become soft and mushy, now add eggs, mix well and turn off flame.
Take a putt maker, add coconut, then add putt dust above it, add egg masala, again add putt dust and coconut, then steam it well.
