Ingredients
for rice
biriyani rice-2 cup
ghee-4 tbsp
onion-2
cashew-1/4 cup
raisins-1/4 cup
For marination
chilly powder-1 tsp
turmeric-1/2 tsp
salt
For masala
fish-1/2 kg
turmeric-1/4 tsp
garam masala-1 1/2 tsp
onion-2 cup
tomato-1 cup
garlic-1 tbsp
ginger-1 tbsp
chilly-1 tbsp
chilly powder-1 tsp
turmeric-1/4 tsp
coriander powder-2 tsp
lemon-1
oil-4 tbsp
salt
coriander leaf
mint leaves
Preparation
Marinate fish with the masalas in the list above, after 15 minutes fry it in a pan. In the same pan saute onion, ginger, and garlic, then add tomato and masalas and lemon juice, add some water, cook until the oil separates, add pieces of fish into it, add garam masala, and herbs, cook for 10 minutes. For cooking rice, roast it for 5 minutes, then add water and salt, cook it well.
For dum, set rice layer, add fried onion and cashew kismis, then masala, add second layer off rice again masala, finally cover it with rice, keep low flame after closing the lid. Serve it after 10 minutes.
