Vattayappam

Ingredients

rice flour-1 kg

sugar-1/2 kg

coconut-2

toddy sweeten-1/2 ltr (or 1 1/2 tsp yiest)

cardamom-12

salt

Preparation

Grind coconut with cardamom and water, then take coconut milk. In a vessel add rice flour,sugar , toddy and coconut milk, mix all well or grind it, then ferment for 4-6 hrs.Add salt to taste, then cook vattayappam in steamer.
