Ingredients
small banana-3
jaggerry-200 gm
water-1/4 cup
rice flour-2 cup
water
baking soda-1/4 tsp
roasted coconut pieces
black sesame seeds- 1 1/2 tsp
cumin-1 tsp
oil
Preparation
Grind banana into fine paste, then transfer to a bowl, add jaggerry juice and rice flour, mix well and make a thick batter, rest this batter for 2 hrs. Add coconut pieces, cumin,baking soda and sesame seeds to fermented batter, add water if required, mix all well. Heat oil in unniyappam pot, pour batter in each hole, cook both sides, unniyappam is ready.
