Ingredients:
Cooked rice — 2cup
Jaggery – 4 Piece (13/4 cup) (Choose dark variety)
thick Coconut milk – 1 cup
Ghee – 3 Tbsp
dried ginger powder — 2 pinch(optional)
Cardamom powder – 3/4 Tsp
Corn flour — 3 Tbsp
Nuts – 2 tablespoon (Optional)
Preparation
Mix corn flour and water, remove lumps and keep aside. Take a mixie jar. add cooked rice,coconut milk and corn flour mix, grind into fine paste, add cloves powder, blend again. Melt jaggerry, then add to a pan into a strainer, add ghee, stir well, next add rice batter, stir continously, add ghee frequently, stir well, add cardamom powder, cook unti it become non sticky, then transfer to a greased mould, set the halwa, then keep aside for 2 hrs.
