Ingredients –
Coconut oil-As required
Fennel seeds–1 tsp
Ginger-1 1/2 tbsp
Garlic-1 tbsp
Green chilli-3-4 Onion–2
Turmeric Powder-1/2 tsp
Tomato-1
Curry leaves-few
Chicken–1 kg
for grinding
Shallots-10
Garlic-6
Coconut-3/4C

Coriander powder-2tsp
Chilli powder1 1/2 tsp
Garam masala-1/2 tsp
Pepper powder-1/2 tsp
Salt-1 3/4 tsp
Tempering
Oil-1 tbsp
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Shallots-3
Curry Leaves-Few
Preparation
Heat oil in a pan, add fennel seeds, ginger,garlic, green chilly, onion and curry leaves, saute it well, add salt, now add tomato, and chicken, mix well. Add potato, after mixing well add hot water, then cook it in low flame for 15 minutes.Heat another pan, add coconut oil, shallots,garlic, after sauting well add coconut, fry until it become light brown, next add masalas and curry leaves, after mixing well turn off flame, then grind it into fine paste, and add to chicken curry, add some pepper powder, cook for 5 more minutes, finally add some coriander leaves and turn off flame. For, seasoning, pop mustards, add shallots sliced, fry well then add to curry.
