Soft Idli tips

Ingredients

raw rice-2 cup

urad dal-1 cup

fenugreek-1 tbsp

rice-1 cup

for chutney

oil

kashmiri chilly

shallots-1 cup

salt

curry leaves

garlic

tomato-2

mustards

urad dal

dry red chilly

Preparation

soak rice , urad dal and fenugreek separately, keep in fridge. Grind it with urad dal soaked water, add cooked rice too.After mixing  well keep aside for fermentation about 8 hrs. After fermentation steam idli in a idli pot.

For chutney

Heat oil in a pan, saute all vegetables and kashmiri chilly, add salt, then grind it well, heat a pan, add oil, pop mustards and urad dal, add dry red chilly and curry leaves, saute well then add to the chutney.
