Easy Neyyappam

Ingredients

White rice _ 2 cup (1 cup -250ml)

Jaggery- 6 nmbr+water – 1/2 cup

Cooked rice-1/4 cup

Cardamom-3

Cumin-1 tspn

Maida – 2 tblspn

Baking soda -1/4 tspn

Coconut pieces-2 tblspn

Ghee- 2 tblspn

Oil – for frying

Preparation

Soak rice for 4 hrs. Melt jaggerry and strain it. Grind rice with jaggerry juice, add cumin, cardmom , cooked rice and maida also, after grinding well, rest batter for 4 hrs. Add coconut pieces roasted in ghee, baking soda, mix well. Heat oil in a pan, once the oil heat well, pour batter, cook both sides, keep the flame medium.
