Hyderabadi Chicken Biriyani

Ingredients

For rice

water

spices

salt

Basmati rice-4 cup

For marination of chicken

Chicken

fried onion

ginger,garlic,chilly paste

turmeric-1/2 tbsp

chilly powder-3/4 tbsp

garam masala-1 tbsp

lemon-1

coriander leaves,pudina

curd-4 tbsp

salt

Cardamom powder

ghee

oil

Preparation

Marinate chicken with the items in the list, then rest for 1 hour. Then fry in oil+ghee mix.

Cook rice with some spices. Then Pour the rice above the cooked chicken( set in 2-3 layers). Add some fried onion,ghee and herbs in between the layers. Keep in low flame for 10  minutes.
