Ingredients for poha kesari

Poha-1cup

jaggerry-50-100 gm

coconut- 1 1/2 handful

cardamom-1 spoon

sesame seeds-1-2 spoon

ghee-2 tsp

cashews

milk-1 cup

gram dal-1/2 cup

Preparation

Cook gram dal. Soak poha in milk. Heat a pan, add coconut,ghee,sesame seeds, cashew and kismis, after sauting well, add poha and cooked gram dal, mix all well.

Preparation

Soak rice for 4-6 hrs, then grind with jaggerry juice,banana and cardamom, rest for 8 hrs, then add other ingredients, after mixing well, cook Unniyappam.

White channa choondal

Ingredients

chana-1-2 cup

mustards-1 tsp

green chilly-2

dry red chilly-2

chilly powder-1/4 tsp

curry leaves

turmeric-1/4 tsp

Preparation

Soak chana for 4 hrs, then cook it well. Heat a pan, pop mustards, curry leaves and red chilly, then add other ingredients, saute it well, finally mix it with cooked channa.

Preparation

Cook cow beans, melt jaggerry, mix it with poha and cooked cow beans, add other ingredients too, mix well.
