Pappada vada

Ingredients :

Kerala pappadam – 20 (medium size)

Rice flour – 1 cup (idiyappam powder)

Corn flour – 1 tsp

Maida – 1 tsp

Chilli powder – 2 tsp

Asafoetida powder – 1/4 tsp

Black sesame seeds – 1 1/2 tsp

Cumin seeds – 1/4 tsp

Fennel seeds – a pinch

Salt

Oil

Water

Preparation

Keep pappadam in sunlight for 20 minutes and keep aside.In a bowl, take rice flour, add corn flour and maida,chilly powder,hing, and salt, after mixing well, add cumin,fennel and sesame seeds, add water and make a batter, then dip pappadam in this batter, and fry in hot oil.
