INGREDIENTS –
Clam Meat Cleaned – 1/2 Kg
(Pressure cook it with a pinch of salt, Turmeric powder, Garam masala, Pepper powder, 2 Cloves of garlic, 1 Green Chilly ,2-3 curry leaves and some water for 2-3 whistles. Drain the excess water and keep aside)
Other Ingredients-
Savola – 1/2 of one medium size
Small Onion – 5-6
Green chilly – 2
Curry leaves
Garlic – 8 cloves – Ginger – A medium size piece – Both crushed.
Whole spices – Pepper Cons (1/2 Tsp), Cardamom (2), Cinnamon – (1 small piece),
Cloves (2)- Crush all together and keep aside.
Spice Powders –
Pepper Powder – 1 Tbsp
Garam Masal – 1/2 Tsp
Red Chilly Powder – 1/2 Tbsp
Turmeric – A pinch
Crushed dry chilli powder – 1/2 Tsp
Meat Masala – 1/2 Tsp
Coconut Oil – 2 Tbsp
Grated Coconut/ Coconut Pieces – 1/4 Cup
Preparation
Cook clam meat with turmeric, salt,garam masala, pepper powder,curry leaves,garlic and chilly for 2-3 whistle. Heat a pan, add oil, heat it, then pop mustards, then add dry red chilly and curry leaves, mix well,next add crushed spices and crushed ginger and garlic, after mixing well add shallots onion and chilly, saute it well, next add coconut, cook it for 2 minutes, next add masalas, afetr mixing well add cooked oyster, cook well.
