Pachari Neyppayasam

Ingredients

Raw rice-1 cup

water- 1 1/2 cup

jaggerry-1 1/2 cup

cardamom

salt

grated coconut-1 cup

ghee

cashews and kismis

Preparation

Cook rice in a pressure cooker with water. Then add jaggerry juice, cook for 1 whistle, then add coconut,cardamom and salt, cook well, then add water, mix well and allow it to boil. Roast cashews and kismis in ghee and add to paayasam.
