Koottukari recipe

Ingredients

chickpea-1/2 cup

salt

water

yam

raw banana-2

turmeric-1/2 tsp

chilly powder-1 tsp

coconut oil-4-5 tbsp

mustards

dry red chilly

curry leaves

urad dal-2 tsp

coconut-2 cup

coconut crushed-1/2 cup coconut+cumin

jaggerry-1

Preparation

Cook chickpea in a pressure cooker by adding salt and water. Then add yam and raw banana into it, add chilly,turmeric and salt,mix all together, cook well. Heat a pan add coconut oil, once it heats well add mustards, after poping it add curry leaves,red chilly and urad dal, roast it well,next add grated coconut, cook until it become brown color. Once the vegetables cooked well add coconut cumin mix, after cooking 5 minutes, mix coconut fried and vegetables together, cook for 10 minutes.
