Ingredients
for appam:
raw rice-1 1/2 cup
urad dal-1 tbsp
cooked rice-1/4 cup
salt
coconut-1 cup
sugar-4 tbsp
water
yiest-1/2 tsp
for egg curry:
tomato-2
oil
mustards-1 tsp
cumin-1/4 tsp
onion-2
salt
ginger garlic paste
curry leaves
coriander powder-2 tbsp
chilly powder-2 tbsp
turmeric-1 tsp
garam masala-1/2 tsp
coconut milk-1 cup
egg boiled
Preparation
Wash rice and urad dal, then add rice,coconut,salt,sugar and water into it, mix well and rest for 8 hrs, then grind into fine batter and rest for 1/2 to 1 hr, then make soft paalappam.
For egg curry, heat a pan, add oil, splutter mustards and cumin, next add onion, saute it well, then add ginger garlic paste, salt, next masalas, mix well, then add tomato puree, cook well, next coconut milk and boiled egg, cook for 1 minute.
