Besan-1Cup
Rice Flour-1/2Cup
Red Chilli Powder-1Tbsp
Asafoetida-1/3Tsp
Salt to Taste
Oil For Fry
For Masala Water:
Garlic Cloves-6
Shallots -8
Pepper-2Tbsp
Preparation
In a mixie jar, add pepper,shallots and garlic, add 1 tbsp of water, grind into fine paste, add more water and strain to a bowl, add gram flour into it, add rice flour, chilly powder,hing and salt, mix all well, knead it to make a dough, fill the dough in a idiyappam maker and press to the hot oil, and fry well.
