Ingredients
chana-1 1/2 cup( soaked 4-5 hrs)
water
turmeric-1 pinch
salt
baking soda-1 pinch
onion-2
ginger,garlic crushed-1 1/2 tbsp
green chilly-1
coriander leaves
tomato puree- 2 tomatoes
cardamom-2
cloves-3
cinnamon
bay leaf-1
cumin-1/2 tsp
kasoori methi-1/2 tsp
turmeric
chilly powder
coriander powder
garam masala
cumin powder
butter or sunflower oil
Preparation
In a pressure cooker, add chana,salt water, turmeric and baking soda, cook 4-5 whistle and keep aside.Heat a pan, add oil, next add spices, roast it well, next add chopped vegetables, saute until it become brown, next add masalas, next add tomato puree, and allow it to boil,then add chana, once it boil well , add coriander leaves and turn off flame.
