Ingredients
oil-2 tbsp
mustard-1 tsp
urad dal-1 tsp
dry red chilly-2
green chilly-2
shallots-2
curry leaves
tomato-2
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
chilly powder-1 1/2 tsp
hing powder-1/2
salt
fennel powder-1 tsp
roasted chick pea-2 tsp
Preparation
In a mixie jar add fennel, and chick pea , grind well, then transfer to a bowl and soak in water, keep aside. Heat oil in a pot, splutter mustards and saute, curry leaves, dry red chilly, green chilly onion and urad dal, then add tomato, saute until it become mushy, next add masalas and salt,next add soaked chick pea powder mix, then stir well, add more water, allow it to boil, then turn off flame.
