Raw rice-2 glass
urad dal-2 tbsp

cooked rice-1 glass
grated coconut-1 glass
sugar-1 1/2 tbsp
salt
water
Preparation
Soak rice and urad dal for 4 hrs, then add into the mixie jar with sugar , salt, cooked rice and grated coconut, grind into fine paste, then rest the batter for 8 hrs for fermentation. Then you can make soft appam.
