Ingredients
dal-1/2 cup
shallots-15
tomato-1
green chilly-4
turmeric-1/2 tsp
hing- small piece
sambar powder-4 1/2 tsp
fenugreek-1/4 tsp
mustard-1/2 tsp
dry red chilly-3
tamarind- lemon size
curry leaves
coriander leaves
coconut oil
salt
water
Preparation
In a cooker add, dal, shallots,turmeric, green chilly , hing, 1 tsp of coconut oil and required water, then cook about 2 whistle. After the pressure gone , put the cooker in stove, and turn on flame, add sambar powder, salt, boiling water, and tamarind juice, then boil this well. Next heat a pan , add oil, mustards, curry leaves,dry red chilly into it, then flash fry it, pour this to sambar, add some coriander leaves.
