Ingredients
Sardine fish-1 kg
shallots-10
garlic-10
ginger- small piece
green chilly-4
pot tamarind-8-10
kashmiri chilly-1 tsp
pepper powder-1 tsp
turmeric powder-1 tsp
curry leaves
coconut oil
salt
water
For seasoning
mustards
shallots-8
dry red chilly-3
red chilly powder-1/4 tsp
turmeric-1/4 tsp
fenugreek-1/4 tsp
oil
curry leaves
Preparation
In a clay pot, saute garlic, shallots, ginger, chilly, and curry leaves, then add kashmiri chilly, pepper powder, and turmeric, next tamarind with juice, add more water and salt, once it boil add fish, cook well. Finally temper with above said ingredients.
