Ingredients
Fish ( kera fish head)- 1/2 kg
coconut oil-1 tbsp
shallots-20
garlic-5-8
ginger
green chilly-2
turmeric-1/4 tsp
pot tamarind
chilly powder-2 tbsp
coriander powder-1 tbsp
kashmiri chilly-1 tbsp
water-2 cup
salt
curry leaves
tomato-1
pepper powder-1 1/2 tsp
for tempering
shallots-5-7
oil
Preparation
Heat a clay pot, add oil, shallots, ginger and garlic, saute well, next add turmeric, pot tamarind, saute again, next chilly powder, coriander, kashmiri chilly, then saute until it turns aromatic, then add water, required salt,and curry leaves, add fish after the curry boils, cook for 15 minutes, add pepper powder, cook until it become thick consistency. Finally add fried shallots with oil.
