Ingredients

for marinate

Pearl spot fish(karimeen)-1 kg

red chilly powder-2 tsp

salt

lemon juice- 1 lemon

For masala

coconut grated-1/2

coriander powder-1/2 tsp

red chilly powder-1 1/2 tsp

garam masala-1/4 tsp

pepper powder-1/2 tsp

oil- for frying

oil-3 tsp

fenugreek-4 nos

shallots-10

onion-3

garlic-3

green chilly-2

curry leaves

salt

ginger garlic paste-1 tsp

kashmiri chilly-2 tspwater-1/2 glass

fenugreek powder- a pinch

Preparation

Marinate the fish with chilly powder, lemon juice and salt, rest for 3/4 hr, then slightly fry in a pan, In another pan roast the coconut with coriander, red chilly powder, garama masala, and pepper powder, then roast well and grind to a smooth paste. Heat oil in a pan add fenugreek, shallots onion,chilly, ginger garlic paste,garlic, salt, coconut paste and kashmiri chilly then saute well finally add some water and mix well, cook until become thicks , finally add curry leaves and fenugreek . Take a banana leaf , put the masala above it , and put the fish above it and cover with the masala and cover the leaf and cook in a clay pot
