Ingredients

Raw Jackfruit bulbs – 20

Coconut oil – 2 tbsp

Onion – 1 (chopped)

Green chilli – 2 (chopped)

Curry leaves – a few

Salt – as required

Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp

Chilli powder – ½ tsp

Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp

Pepper powder – ½ tsp

Garam masala powder – ½ tsp

Egg – 1

Cornfolour – 1 tbsp

Bread crumbs – as required

Oil – for frying

Preparation

First, take 20 pieces of mature green jackfruit, remove the seeds, and cut them into small pieces .Put the jackfruit pieces in a pressure cooker, add some salt and ¼ cup of water, and mix well , Cook for two whistles on high flame, then grind the jackfruit in a mixer without adding water .To prepare the masala, add two tablespoons of coconut oil to a pan, then add chopped onions, green chilies, and curry leaves .Add some salt and sauté well. Once the onions are slightly wilted, add one teaspoon of ginger-garlic paste .Sauté until the raw smell of ginger and garlic disappears. Then, add ½ teaspoon of chili powder, ½ teaspoon of pepper powder, ½ teaspoon of garam masala powder, and ¼ teaspoon of turmeric powder .Sauté well, then add the ground jackfruit and mix thoroughly .
Once the mixture has cooled, mix it again with your hands Shape the mixture into cutlets, applying oil to your hands to prevent sticking .In a bowl, crack an egg and add one tablespoon of cornflour, then beat well .Take breadcrumbs on a plate. Dip each cutlet in the egg mixture, then coat it with breadcrumbs .Heat oil in a pan and fry the cutlets until golden brown on both sides.
