Sardine fish In Cooker(Cooker mathi)

Ingredients:

6-7 cloves of garlic

A piece of ginger

3 green chilies

1 tsp of Kashmiri chili powder (non-spicy)

½ tsp of chili powder (spicy)

½ tsp of pepper powder

¼ tsp of turmeric powder

Salt to taste

1 tsp of coconut oil

Some water

Curry leaves

1 kg of sardine

Small onions

Coconut oil

Tamarind water

Preparation

Grind together garlic, ginger, green chilies, chili powders, pepper powder, turmeric powder, salt, coconut oil, water, and curry leaves into a paste . Marinate the sardines with the ground paste and set aside for half an hour . In a cooker, sauté small onions in coconut oil until golden brown. Add curry leaves and mix well . Arrange the marinated sardines in the cooker . Pour tamarind water over the sardines . Cook for one whistle .Once the pressure is released, open the cooker
