Chakka Peratt (Jackfruit recipe)
Ingredients
raw jackfruit
kanthari mulak(chilly)
turmeric
chilly powder
cumin powder
salt
water
curry leaves
coconut
Preparation
Chop jackfruit into long thin pieces. mix masalas, salt and water in a bowl, pour above the jackfruit, mix well, then cook it well. Don’t add too much of water. Crush coconut with chilly, then add to cooked jackfruit, combine well, add curry leaves and raw coconut oil to it, mix well, then turn off flame.
