Lentil Fry

Ingredients

coconut oil

garlic

curry leaves

green chillies

onion

chilly flakes

dry chilly

turmeric

salt

hing

Preparation

Rinse and cook the lentils. In a pan, heat the oil or ghee and add mustard seeds. Add cumin seeds and curry leaves. Add onion and sauté until translucent. Add asafoetida and stir. Add ginger and garlic paste and fry for a minute. Add green chilies and sauté for a minute. Add all the spices and mix well.
