Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 cups wheat flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon ghee (clarified butter) or oil

Water as needed

Oil for frying

Preparation

Combine the all-purpose flour, wheat flour, salt, and ghee in a bowl. Add water gradually and knead the dough until it is soft and pliable. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 20 minutes. Divide the dough into small balls. Roll out each ball into a thin circle. Brush the circle with oil.Fold the circle in half and then in half again to form a triangle. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the triangles until they are golden brown.
Remove the triangles from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your favorite curry or stew.
