Here is the recipe for unniyappam

Ingredients:
2 cups raw rice
2 small bananas
1/2 cup all-purpose flour (maida)
300 gm jaggery
1/2 cup water
1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ghee (clarified butter)
Oil for frying
fried coconut flakes
Preparation
Wash the rice and soak it in water for at least 3 hours. Drain the soaked rice and grind it into a fine batter in a blender with meledt jaggerry and banana. Add the all-purpose flour, to the batter and blend until smooth. Cover the batter and let it rest for at least 6 hours. Heat the unniyappam pan over medium heat. Pour oil . Once it hot enough, Pour the batter into the molds, filling them about three-quarters full. Cover the pan and cook the unniyappam for about 10-15 minutes, or until they are cooked through. Remove the unniyappam from the pan and serve hot.
