Easy chicken biriyani
chicken-1 kg
chilly powder-1 tsp
salt
turmeric-1/2 tsp
garam masala powder-1 tsp
coconut oil-2 tsp
lemon-1/2
basmati rice- 2 cup
onion-1/2 kg
tomato-3
ginger
garlic and green chilly
coriander and mint leaves
oil
whole spices
water-3 1/2 cup
salt
Preparation
Marinate chicken with salt, turmeric, chilly powder, garam masala powder, lemon juice and coconut oil. Soak rice for 10 minutes. Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add wholespices, after roasting it well add onion, add ginger , garlic and chilly along with it, saute it well, then add tomato, mint and coriander to it, mix well, then pour water, let it boil well, add salt, then wait until it boil well, then add rice, then cover the cooker, cook it for 1 whistle, biriyani is ready.
