Bread Pola
Ingredients:
1 cup milk
8 slices bread
5 eggs
1.5 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Preparation
Cut off the crusts of the bread slices. Pour the milk into a blender jar. Add the bread slices and blend until the bread is well soaked. Crack 2 eggs into the blender jar. Add the egg whites of the remaining 3 eggs. Add sugar and vanilla essence to the mixture.Blend the mixture until it is smooth. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish. Steam for 15 minutes. In a separate bowl, whisk the 3 egg yolks with sugar and vanilla essence. Pour this mixture over the steamed batter. Steam for another 5-10 minutes, or until the egg yolks are set. Let the Bread Pola cool before serving.
