Tomato
Onion
Green chili
Ginger
Garlic
Curry leaves
Mustard seeds
Urad dal
Salt
Turmeric powder
kashmiri chili powder
Ghee
Instructions:
Cook the rice in a pressure cooker with water, salt, and turmeric powder. Heat ghee in a pan and add mustard seeds, urad dal, and curry leaves. When they splutter, add chopped onion, green chili, ginger, and garlic. Saute until the onion turns golden brown. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and mushy. Add salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala powder. Cook for a few more minutes until the masala is well combined. Add water, then wait until it boil well, then add rice to the tomato masala and mix well. Cook it for 1-2 whistle. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
