Ingredients

Rice

Potato

Peas

Tomato

Onion

Mint leaves

Coriander leaves

green Chillies

ginger Garlic Paste

cumin

cinnamon Stick

cloves

green cardamom

black Cardamom

star anise

mace

bay leaves

cashews (optional)

curd

turmeric powder

red chilli powder

coriander powder

salt

garam masala powder

oil

Desi ghee

Preparation

Heat ghee in a pan. Add bay leaf, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, and green chilies. Add chopped onions, ginger, and garlic. Add chopped tomatoes. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala powder, and salt. Add washed rice and water. Add potatoes and peas.Cook until the rice is cooked and the water is absorbed. Serve hot with raita or yogurt.
