Ingredients
chickpea soaked-1/4 cup
salt
water
coconut-3/4 cup & 1 1/2 cup
cumin-1 tsp
yam
ashgourd
raw banana
turmeric
pepper powder-2 tsp
chilly powder-1 tsp
coconut oil
mustard
urad dal
cumin
dry chilly-3
curry leaves
jaggerry-1-2
Preparation
Soak chickpea for 10 hrs, then cook it with salt and water in a pressure cooker. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, cumin, dry chilly and urad dal, roast it for a minute, then add coconut to it, roast until it turns brown, then turn off flame. Cook yam and raw banana in a pot, by adding water , turmerric, pepper powder and chilly powder. Add ash gourd after cooking it, then add salt too. Grind coconut with cumin , and make a paste, then add it to the curry. Boil it well until it thickens, add jaggerry too, add fried coconut mix to the pot, combine well, then turn off flame.
