Shark Fish Biriyani
Ingredients
1 kg shark meat, cut into cubes
1 cup basmati rice
3 onion, chopped
tomato-1
2 cloves garlic, minced
ginger garlic and green chilly paste
1 tablespoon garam masala
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
vinegar-1 1/2 tsp
curry leaves
coriander leaves
1 bay leaf
2 cloves
1 cinnamon stick
1 cup coconut milk
4 cups water
Salt to taste
coriander powder-1 tsp
garam masala-1 tsp
chilly powder-1 tsp
pepper powder-1 tbsp
turmeric-1/2 tsp
curd-2 tbsp
lemon-1
Preparation
Marinate the shark meat in a mixture of garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, and vinegar for at least 30 minutes. Then fry the fish and keep aside. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onions and cook until softened. Add tomato, cook until it soft, then add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute more. Add masala powders, mix until the raw smell gone, then add curd , lemon and coriander, after mixing well, turn off flame.
Heat oil in a pot, add masalas, onion, and ginger garlic after sauting well add water, let it boil well, add rice, cook the rice about 80 %, then sieve it.
Prepare a layer of, masala, fried fish and rice in a large vessel, put heat about 15 minutes in low flame.
