egg-2

sugar-8 tbsp

black sesame-1 tsp

First, take coconut milk and keep aside. In a bowl, add egg sugar and a little coconut milk, beat it well. Take rice flour in a large bowl, add sesame and maida, mix well, then add egg mix, combine well, pour coconut milk and mix everything throughly, make this a flowing batter, keep this aside 1/2 hrs. Using a special Achappam mold (which has a star-shaped design), dip it into the batter and then lower it into the hot oil. The batter will spread out and form the intricate lace-like pattern. Fry until the Achappam turns golden brown and crisp. Remove the Achappam from the oil, drain on paper towels, and let it cool.
