Kaya Bajji

Here is the recipe for Vazhakka Baji

Ingredients:

1 vazhakka (banana)

2 cups rice flour

2 tablespoons sambar powder

1 teaspoon turmeric powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon soda powder

Water, as needed

Oil, for frying

Preparation

Peel the vazhakka and slice it into thin, even pieces. In a bowl, combine the rice flour, sambar powder, turmeric powder, salt, and soda powder. Add water to the dry ingredients and mix until you form a thick batter.Heat oil in a deep pan.Dip each slice of vazhakka into the batter and fry it in the hot oil until it turns golden brown.
Remove the bajji from the oil and drain on a paper towel. Serve hot with chutney or sambar.
