How to make a simple and delicious Fish Biryani with easily available ingredients. The dish is prepared without the need for a lot of ingredients or the traditional dum cooking method.
Ingredients
For marination
fish – 1/2 kg
kashmiri chilly powder-2 tbsp
turmeric-1/4 tsp
pepper powder-1/2 tsp
salt
vinegar
for masala
onion-4
ginger garlic paste-2 tbsp
tomato-1
garam masala-1 1/2 tbsp
pepper powder-1 tsp
turmeric-1/2 tsp
salt
coriander leaves
for rice
basmati rice-3/4 kg
oil- 2 tbsp
whole spices
ghee
Preparation
The fish is marinated in a simple mixture of Kashmiri chili powder, turmeric powder, black pepper powder, salt, and vinegar. and then fried until crispy. Then prepare masala in this same oil. Saute onion, ginger garlic, tomato with masala powders, add fried fish to it, mix well, then turn off flame. The rice is cooked separately and then layered in a pot with the fried fish and spices.The layered dish is steamed for a short time until the flavors are infused.
The final product is a flavorful and aromatic Fish Biryani that is perfect for any occasion.
